Miguel Frasquilho presented to the Latin American Ambassadors his priorities and strategy at the head of the agency responsible for Portugal’s foreign trade. Peruvian writer Mario Vargas Llosa was awarded an Honorary Doctorate by the Universidade Nova de Lisboa. The Godfather was Francisco Pinto Balsemão and the Speaker was Nuno Júdice. The Ceremony took place in Lisbon on the 22nd of July. The President of IPDAL was invited by the Rector of the University to attend the Ceremony.
