IPDAL launched the book “América Latina: História e Sabores”, sponsored by the Institute itself. The work was publicly presented at the reception offered to the Diplomatic Corps and Friends of IPDAL, offered on the occasion of the 12th anniversary of the I nstitute. Following the bus accident in Pasamayo, the President of IPDAL expressed to the Ambassador of Peru the Institute’s availability for any form of support. At the European University, in Lisbon, the former Head of State spoke about “Globalization in the Era of Populism”. The Mayor of Braga thanked the partnership with IPDAL, in the closing speech of the Ibero-American Youth Capital. The Secretary General of IPDAL was at the charity dinner promoted by President Jorge Sampaio. The initiative, aimed at supporting the Support Platform for Syrian Students and aTTitude, took place on November 11th and brought together a group of large companies and personalities from Portuguese public life. This was the third edition of the Quarteto Gastronomico project, developed by aTTitude IPSS. Six dinners have already been organized, supported by more than 75 entities, which contributed to an amount of around 200 thousand euros, destined for the causes embraced by the Gastronomic Quartet.

The author, Ricardo Raposo Lopes, offered the Institute a copy of the work that addresses one of the most important and worrying issues in Latin America. The book is published by Chiado Editora.
