The President and Secretary General of the Institute were received by Ambassador Johana Tablada de la Torre, who, after four years, ends her mission in Lisbon.

The purpose of the meeting was to congratulate the diplomat for the work carried out at the head of the Cuban mission in Lisbon and to thank the numerous occasions on which IPDAL and the embassy collaborated.

Johana Tablada has publicly mentioned several times that IPDAL is the institution in Portugal that most supports embassies and works most for Latin America.

In the years in which Ambassador Tablada represented the Republic of Cuba in Lisbon, the State visit of the President of the Republic of Portugal stands out. It was the first time in the history of bilateral relations between the two countries.
