Following the bus accident in Pasamayo, the President of IPDAL expressed to the Ambassador of Peru the Institute’s availability for any form of support.

Paulo Neves told Ambassador Maritza Puertas de Rodríguez that “it was with enormous regret that we received the tragic news of the accident that took place at Curva del Diablo, in Pasamayo.”

The President of the Institute deeply regretted “all the lives that were lost”, stating that it was “a moment of great sadness for the families of the victims, for the entire country and for all Friends of Peru.”

Paulo Neves also expressed the “deepest solidarity with the Peruvian people, a nation for which IPDAL has so much affection and respect.”

The note from the IPDAL leader also assured that “our thoughts and prayers are with Peru and, especially, with the survivors and the families of the victims. IPDAL also lends itself to supporting all the efforts of the Embassy, which Your Excellency. understand.”
