The International Monetary Fund (IMF) has revised upwards the economic growth prospects for Latin America in 2016 and 2017. Ambassadors from around the world at an event to promote Latin American culture. The Sunset Party Latinoamericana, organized by IPDAL, reached its fifth edition on July 19, 2016. IPDAL and the Order of Pharmacists organized a seminar where diplomats from Latin America and CPLP joined forces with the largest Portuguese pharmaceutical companies. The President of IPDAL held a conference at the National University of Lanús, in the capital of Argentina. It was a co-organization with the Fundação Diálogos Estratégicos, based in Buenos Aires.
