IPDAL organized a working meeting with Ambassador Brígida Scaffo and Portuguese companies interested in the Uruguayan market. On March 4th, IPDAL and the Embassy of Uruguay announced business opportunities in this country to a selected group of companies in the pharmaceutical, construction, hotel, banking, telecommunications, engineering, airlines, maritime transport sectors, among others. Ambassador Brígida Scaffo and Minister Jaime Pache presented Uruguay’s macroeconomy and the sectors considered priorities by the Montevideo government. The Institute organized a visit by 180 Sciences-Po students to the Assembly of the Republic of Portugal. On January 19th, the Secretary General of IPDAL accompanied the students’ visit to the most emblematic places of the Parliament, such as the Sessions room, where the Assembly Plenary takes place, the Lost Steps room, the Library and the recently created Citizen Space.
