The candidate for the Presidency of the Republic of Portugal António Sampaio da Nóvoa had a meeting, promoted by IPDAL, with the Latin American and European Ambassadors.
On January 6, 2016, the former rector of the University of Lisbon spoke to diplomatic representatives about his vision of Portugal in the World and explained his strategy for international relations. António Sampaio da Nóvoa also shared his ideas on relations with Latin America and Europe, addressed the refugee crisis, spoke about major trade agreements between regions and referred to the importance of Portuguese communities in the world, having responded to questions and comments from those present.
At the Literary Guild, the ambassadors of: Austria, Brazil, Czech Republic, Chile, Cuba, France, Israel, Paraguay, Poland, Sweden, Switzerland and Venezuela gathered, as well as the Chargé d’Affaires of Argentina, Colombia, Mexico, Peru, Uruguay and Turkey.
