The Institute organized a visit by 180 Sciences-Po students to the Assembly of the Republic of Portugal.
On January 19th, the Secretary General of IPDAL accompanied the students’ visit to the most emblematic places of the Parliament, such as the Sessions room, where the Assembly Plenary takes place, the Lost Steps room, the Library and the recently created Citizen Space.
The visit ended with a debate session, where students were able to ask their questions and clarify their doubts about the political functioning of the country, in general, and the Assembly of the Republic, in particular. In the Senate Room, there were deputies Paulo Neves and Carlos Easter, from the Parliamentary Committee on Foreign Affairs and Portuguese Communities, who were available to talk to the students. This session was chaired by the Secretary General of IPDAL, Filipe Domingues.
