IPDAL organized, between the 2nd and 4th of July, a visit by Ibero-American ambassadors to Braga.

A delegation of ambassadors and diplomats from the countries of Latin America and the Iberian Peninsula was taken by IPDAL to visit the activities carried out by the City Council as part of the annual program of the city’s Ibero-American Youth Capital.
The delegation had a business meeting at Start Up Braga, where they contacted the main economic agents in the region, an academic meeting at the University of Minho and an institutional meeting with the Mayor, Ricardo Rio. The visit, as part of the celebrations and the program of the Ibero-American youth capital, it also included a concert, a tasting of the main gastronomic specialties of the various countries and visits to the most relevant cultural and tourist attractions in the region.

The President of IPDAL considered this visit a genuine success “we managed, in a few days, to establish contact with the main actors and decision-makers in the region, both public and private, in addition to learning about the programming of the Ibero-American youth capital. IPDAL thus continues to confirm its status as the main platform connecting Portugal with Latin American countries, not only in Lisbon but also in other cities in the country, always being attentive to the most relevant opportunities and events, both for ambassadors from Latin American countries -Americans as well as the Portuguese, whether they are companies, politicians, or cultural agents”.
