On October 11th, IPDAL signed a Cooperation Protocol with UAL. According to the protocol, the two entities will jointly organize at least one annual Conference, in Portugal, on Latin America. On October 11th, a Conference on the life and current affairs of Simon Bolivar took place at the Autonomous University of Lisbon. The Conference was organized by UAL and IPDAL. The Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs of Cuba, Dagoberto Rodríguez Barrera received the presidents of the IPDAL Board and Advisory Council. The Minister of the Presidency of the Dominican Republic, César Pina Toribio, received, in Lisbon, on the 8th of September, an IPDAL delegation, which included the President of the Board – Paulo Neves – the President of the Advisory Council – Minerva Lara Batista – and Paulo Camacho.
