On October 11th, IPDAL signed a Cooperation Protocol with UAL. According to the protocol, the two entities will jointly organize at least one annual Conference, in Portugal, on Latin America.

The President of UAL, Professor Eduardo Costa highlighted the role that IPDAL has in promoting Latin America in Portugal and highlighted the various initiatives that both institutions – UAL and IPDAL – have already organized in Lisbon. That’s why he classified IPDAL “as a great partner”.

The President of IPDAL Professor Paulo Neves stated that “the two institutions have maintained a very close relationship over the last 2 years that could only end with the signing of such a demanding and optimistic Protocol”. Paulo Neves praised the “quick way things happen at UAL” and “the excellent teaching at this University” giving the example of IPDAL interns coming from this University.

The President of IPDAL highlighted the figures of Nancy Gomes – Professor at UAL -, Luís Moita – Director of the Department of International Relations-, Miguel Faria – Director of UAL-, and the President of UAL -Eduardo Costa. Several members of the UAL board of directors, the presidents of the IPDAL Advisory Council and Fiscal Council and several Latin American Ambassadors and Diplomats were present.
