The Embassy of Uruguay, with the support of IPDAL and APAVT, organized a working meeting with the Vice Minister of Tourism of Uruguay, Benjamín Liberoff, and Portuguese companies in the sector. IPDAL and Royal Elcano Institute (RIE) organized a debate dedicated to the “Crisis in Catalonia and Possible Consequences”. IPDAL supported the organization of an academic conference with the former President of Mexico, Ernesto Zedillo. At the European University, in Lisbon, the former Head of State spoke about “Globalization in the Era of Populism”. On the 4th and 5th of December, more than 20 young Latin American and Spanish politicians got to know the main Portuguese and international institutions based in Lisbon.
