At the reception offered by IPDAL, the Ambassadors of Brazil and Mexico were awarded the IPDAL-Vista Alegre award .
Luiz Alberto Figueiredo Machado and Alfredo Pérez Bravo praised the Institute’s work and made a point of remembering several of the opportunities in which they benefited from joint work with IPDAL.
The tribute to diplomats, who represent the two largest Latin American economies, took place within the scope of the VIII Latin American Sunset Party – the annual reception that IPDAL offers, at the beginning of summer, to the Diplomatic Corps and Friends of the Institute.

On July 11, 2019, the Guest Country was Uruguay, which brought a group of musicians to play live during the event. The concert was performed by the duo Maeso-Pérez, internationally recognized artists in the candombe and milonga genres, famous in the River Plate. The Embassy of Uruguay also specially selected a set of national wines for the tasting, which was attended by ambassadors and representatives from more than thirty countries, from Latin America, Europe, Africa and Asia, deputies to the Assembly of the Republic, representatives of international organizations, from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, AICEP, businesspeople, journalists and association leaders.

The remaining Latin American embassies offered their respective typical drinks, with pieces of Latin American crafts and decoration being displayed.
IPDAL thanks Visabeira Turismo, Zambezi, Iberia and the Embassy of Uruguay.
