The VIII Meeting “Strategic Triangle: Latin America – Europe – Africa” will feature a special message from the Secretary-General of the United Nations.

António Guterres accepted the IPDAL challenge to deliver a message to the initiative’s participants about the importance of relations between the three continents and the capacity of Latin America, Europe and Africa to respond to some of the greatest challenges facing humanity, such as such as climate change, migration or gender equality.

IPDAL interprets the message sent by the UN Secretary General as an incentive to carry out the initiative, corroborating the centrality of the theme and the relevance of its participants.

The VIII Meeting “Strategic Triangle: Latin America – Europe – Africa” will take place on the 6th and 7th of May 2019, in Lisbon.
