IPDAL was at the Epic Sana Lisboa, where the XIII edition of the Strategic Triangle Meeting was held on 15 and 16 May.

Attended by several prominent figures from the public and private sectors, such as Adrián Bonilla, Ana Paula Fernandes, Celeste Hagatong, Inês Domingos, Jorge Argüello, Luciana Botafogo, Nelma Fernandes, Rafael Alves Rocha, Rui Miguel Santos, and Vítor Ramalho, the main event on triangular discussion and cooperation in Portugal was a huge success.

The conference was opened by Paulo Neves, President of IPDAL: ‘I hope that Latin America increasingly gets to know Africa, and that Africa gets to know Latin America, and that Europeans get to know the other continents as well.’

He also thanked the high-level officials and representatives of international organisations who had come to Portugal to discuss issues relevant to the future of international relations: ‘I welcome all the secretaries who are with us. To the secretaries-general, executive directors, institutions, multilateral organisations and ambassadors who are with us. It is a pleasure that you have come to Portugal.’

The Strategic Triangle Meeting also included a High Level Dialogue, in which Adrián Bonilla, Andrés Allamand, Antonella Cavallari, Georges Chikoti, Gonzalo Gutiérrez Reinel, Luis Almagro, and Max Trejo took part.
