Roundtable with Félix Ulloa, Vice President of El Salvador

The Institute for the Promotion of Latin America and the Caribbean (IPDAL), in partnership with the Embassy of El Salvador in Portugal, organized a high-level closed-door roundtable with H.E. Félix Ulloa, Vice President of El Salvador, to discuss the challenges and opportunities in relations between Europe and Latin America.

In his remarks, Félix Ulloa highlighted the importance of strengthening political, economic, and cultural ties between the two regions, emphasizing El Salvador’s commitment to democratic stability and inclusive development. “International cooperation is essential to address common challenges and build lasting bridges between our peoples,” he stated.

The session also included an open discussion segment, where participants had the opportunity to ask questions and share perspectives on the evolution of Euro–Latin American relations, as well as on El Salvador’s political and economic context.

For IPDAL, this initiative reinforces its mission to promote strategic dialogue and foster closer ties between Portugal, Europe, and the countries of Latin America and the Caribbean, contributing to greater mutual understanding and interregional cooperation.

This roundtable is part of a series of exclusive initiatives that IPDAL has been developing to strengthen transatlantic relations and encourage the exchange of ideas among different international stakeholders on commercial and geopolitical issues.
