IPDAL presented the Economy and Development Report: Inequalities Inherited from CAF – Development Bank of Latin America. The initiative, which took place at the European University, included representatives of the diplomatic corps, academics and other parties interested in the topic.

Economist Dolores de la Mata presented the conclusions of the study on intergenerational mobility and the obstacles it faces in Latin America, in particular access to education and discrimination based on race, gender and family origin.

Knowledge Manager Veronica Frisancho spoke with Regina Bastos, Elza Pais and Pedro Mota Soares about the role that education and employment have in creating opportunities for new generations and how to change the paradigm to achieve greater inclusion in society and ensure that children can have a better quality of life than their parents and grandparents.
