Paraguay’s National Day was celebrated on May 18th.

Ambassador Luis Fretes Carreras and Senhora received several guests at the Tivoli Palace. IPDAL was represented by the Presidents of the Board and the Supervisory Board and by the Vice-President of the Board.

In his speech, the Ambassador of Paraguay highlighted the relations between Portugal and his country and also the long history of Paraguay’s independence 199 years ago. Several Portuguese personalities and members of the Diplomatic Corps were present.
