The reception hosted by the Institute brought together ambassadors, international organizations, companies and political leaders.

On January 22, 2020, the President of IPDAL highlighted the growth of activities and the diversification of the Institute’s areas of intervention, highlighting the growing relevance in terms of its role as a promoter of regions such as Latin America, Africa, Asia and also Europe.

At the reception, which took place at Grémio Literário on the occasion of IPDAL’s 14th Anniversary, Paulo Neves described the ability that IPDAL has acquired to collaborate with the most relevant institutions and companies, national or foreign, with influence and reputation in global dynamics.

On the same occasion, the IPDAL – Vista Alegre award was presented to BBVA Portugal and COSEC. The CEO of BBVA Portugal, Luís Castro e Almeida, and the President of the Board of Directors of COSEC, Maria Celeste Hagatong, praised the value added by IPDAL to the development of its operations, recognizing the importance of the Institute in implementing its respective strategies.

Dozens of Ambassadors, representatives of the diplomatic corps accredited in Portugal, senior officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Presidents of Professional Orders, large institutions and companies, business associations, journalists and academics were present.

IPDAL also thanks Quinta da Bacalhoa, wine sponsor of the initiative.
