The President and Secretary General of IPDAL were received, in audience, by the new Executive Secretary of the Community of Portuguese Speaking Countries.

Former Minister of Foreign Affairs of Timor-Leste and with extensive experience in multilateral matters, particularly within the scope of the United Nations, Zacarias da Costa praised the Institute’s efforts to promote the CPLP in Latin America and made himself available to strengthen the partnership between the two organizations.

During the meeting, which took place on September 13th, IPDAL representatives also presented the Institute’s activity plan for the period 2021/2022, highlighting the next editions of the meetings “Latin America-CPLP”, “Africa XXI” and “ Strategic Triangle: Latin America – Europe – Africa”.

IPDAL has been a CPLP Advisory Observer since 2016.
