IPDAL once again promoted Latin American tourist destinations at the National Congress of the Portuguese Association of Travel and Tourism Agencies (APAVT). With the support of Latin American embassies, IPDAL once again boosted a space where, during the three days of the Congress, it distributed updated and rigorous information on the main tourist attractions in the various countries. At the Institute’s stand, the more than 500 congressmen who attended APAVT’s most important annual meeting were able to find leaflets, brochures, posters and various communication materials. The 42nd APAVT Congress was held in Aveiro and was the most popular in recent years, with the largest number of participants recorded in several editions. Between the 8th and 10th of December, the country’s main hotel groups, airlines, travel agencies and tour operators were present, alongside institutional figures such as the Secretary of State for Tourism, the President of the Tourism Confederation and the President of the Tourism in Central Portugal. Participation in the APAVT Congress took place simultaneously and was integrated into the official visit of Latin American Ambassadors to Aveiro , organized by IPDAL on the 8th and 9th of December.
