Peru was the guest country at the IX Tourism Forum “Portugal – Latin America”.

The IPDAL initiative, which annually brings together Latin American ambassadors with the main actors in Portuguese tourism, was also the stage for Peruvian gastronomy and culture. With the support of the Embassy, a cocktail was offered with typical specialties from the Andean country.

With the aim of promoting their countries as tourist destinations, the Ambassadors of Latin American countries showed their countries’ promotional videos and presented the arguments that make their countries attractive options for tourism professionals and Portuguese travelers.

This initiative took place on March 16th, within the scope of the Lisbon Tourism Exchange (BTL), and had the support of FIL and APAVT – Portuguese Association of Travel and Tourism Agencies. The Government was represented by the President of Turismo de Portugal.
