IPDAL was represented by Cátia Moreira de Carvalho, a member of the Board of Directors, at the Europe 2050 Vision Lab, which took place from 7 to 9 December 2025 in Brussels, as part of an initiative organised by the Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom.
The programme included strategic reflection sessions, creative leadership exercises, and thematic debates on major European challenges — ranging from political participation in 2050 to sustainable development, as well as Europe’s capacity for global leadership — as outlined in the official event programme.
Cátia Moreira de Carvalho’s participation highlighted IPDAL’s ongoing commitment to political innovation, inter-regional dialogue, and the development of strategic visions that bring Europe closer to Latin America and the Caribbean. The Vision Lab provided an opportunity to strengthen international networks, develop collaborative proposals, and reinforce IPDAL’s role in debates on the future, democracy, and public diplomacy.
Through this participation, IPDAL consolidates its position within the European space for reflection and strategic foresight, expanding opportunities for multilateral cooperation and strengthening institutional bridges for the years ahead.
