The President of IPDAL was received, in Montevideo, by the Presidents of the main Municipal Chambers of Uruguay.

The Head of the Portuguese Mission in Montevideo, António Alves de Carvalho, participated in the meeting. The President of the Congress of Intendants of Uruguay, Artigas Barrios, highlighted the importance of the Business Mission organized by IPDAL to Uruguay, stating that “many of the Intendency projects can and should be carried out by Portuguese companies”.

The President of IPDAL also highlighted the “excellence of Portuguese companies” in the areas of construction, IT, renewable energy, sanitation, etc. Uruguay has 19 Intendants.
