Jorge Argüello assured that he will continue to collaborate with IPDAL, starting in Buenos Aires.

On November 26th, the Institute awarded the IPDAL – Vista Alegre Prize to Ambassador Jorge Argüello, for the excellence of his work in Lisbon. At the Literary Guild, the President of IPDAL highlighted the personal and professional qualities of the honoree, who for two and a half years represented the Argentine Republic in Lisbon.

The Ambassador, whose previous posts were Washington, with the Government of the United States of America, and New York, with the United Nations, praised the work and professionalism of IPDAL, expressing the desire to, in a private capacity, continue the relationship with the Institute.

The ceremony was attended by Latin American ambassadors, representatives of the Presidency of the Republic and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Portugal, deputies to the Assembly of the Republic, academics and prominent members of the Argentine community residing in Portugal.
