IPDAL has once again joined the most prestigious academic initiative on Hispanic linguistics in Portugal.

On April 2nd, IPDAL offered a reception to participants, organizers and guests of the VIII Hispanic Linguistics Conference. This is a way of signaling the Institute’s support for the initiative which, this year, brought representatives from more than 20 countries from five continents to Lisbon.

At the Literary Guild, the President of IPDAL highlighted the importance that the Institute attaches to academic activities for deepening relations between Portugal and Latin America and for promoting dialogues for peace, an example of which is the Hispanic Linguistics Conference.

Professor José María Santos Rovira, organizer of the Days, thanked the Institute for its support, which since the first year, in 2012, has contributed to the success of the event.
