Last week, Gastón Ocampo, Secretary General of the Institute for the Promotion of Latin America and the Caribbean, took part in the Atlantic Dialogues Emerging Leaders (ADEL) program, for which he was selected from more than 1,400 candidates from various regions of the world. Promoted by the Policy Center for the New South, the program brings together young leaders committed to issues of international cooperation, innovation and sustainable development.

The initiative concluded with the Atlantic Dialogues conference, where politicians, entrepreneurs and academics reflected on global challenges in areas such as the economy, security and diplomacy.

The participation of Gastón Ocampo and IPDAL highlights the relevance of the triagulation between Europe, Latin America and the Caribbean, and Africa, reinforcing bridges of understanding and collaboration to tackle common transatlantic challenges.
