IPDAL RECEIVES VICE MINISTER REP. DOMINICAN

The person responsible for bilateral foreign policy for the government of Santo Domingo visited the Institute to discuss joint actions.

The Secretary General, Filipe Domingues, and the Vice-President of IPDAL, Jorge Costa, presented José Júlio Gomez with a set of proposals to strengthen the bilateral relationship between the Dominican Republic and Portugal, in the economic, political and diplomatic domains.

The IPDAL leaders and the deputy minister shared their respective readings on the challenges and opportunities for cooperation between the two countries in the regional and global political context, having identified common interests and specific mechanisms for deepening relations.

The meeting took place at IPDAL headquarters, on June 3rd. Also present were the Ambassador of the Dominican Republic in Lisbon, Miguel Ángel Prestol, members of the diplomatic representation and the deputy minister’s advisors.
