The President and the Secretary General were with the Ambassador of the Republic of El Salvador, who delivered letters of credentials to the President of the Republic of Portugal.

On April 5th, the President of the Institute had dinner with Ambassador Carmen María Gallardo Hernández and the Honorary Consul of El Salvador, Miguel Horta e Costa. During dinner, the political, diplomatic and economic relationship between the Central American country and Portugal was discussed and the support that IPDAL provides to diplomatic representations, particularly to non-residents in Lisbon.

On the same day, the Secretary General of IPDAL met with the Ambassador, in a working meeting that served to present the Institute and plan joint activities, namely the holding of “El Salvador Day in Portugal”.
