IPDAL organized a working meeting with several Portuguese companies to promote and publicize business opportunities in Cuba.

The Ambassador of the Caribbean country, Johana Tablada de la Torre, gave a detailed presentation of the legislative changes and new infrastructure in the country: she highlighted the port and the Mariel Special Development Zone, as well as the reforms carried out by the government to attract foreign investment and boost the private sector.

On May 16th, the President and Secretary General of IPDAL announced the business mission that will be carried out to Cuba and which aims to promote Portuguese businesses in this country.

Some of the main Portuguese companies were present, with emphasis on the IPDAL sponsors: Prébuild and Mota-Engil.
