IPDAL President participates in the 2026 Atlantic Think Tank Meeting in Miami

The President of IPDAL, Paulo Neves, participated in the 2026 Atlantic Think Tank Meeting, held from 10 to 12 September in Miami, United States.

Organised by the Union of Latin American Parties (UPLA), the meeting brought together political leaders, academics and representatives of think tanks from 22 countries, providing a platform for dialogue and reflection on the main political, economic and institutional challenges facing Latin America.

Throughout the meeting, participants discussed issues related to democracy, economic freedom, institutional strengthening and the future of the region, fostering the exchange of different perspectives and experiences among representatives from several countries.

Paulo Neves’ participation reinforced IPDAL’s presence in key international forums for reflection and dialogue on Latin America, while also contributing to strengthening the Institute’s relations with political decision-makers, organisations and think tanks across the region.

IPDAL’s presence in Miami is aligned with its mission to promote dialogue, bring institutions closer together and strengthen relations between Portugal, Europe, Latin America and the Caribbean, through the creation and consolidation of international cooperation networks.

During the meeting, the President of IPDAL also had the opportunity to engage with several personalities and institutional representatives in attendance, strengthening existing relations and identifying new opportunities for cooperation.
