IPDAL participates in Conference on Latin America and Central Europe

The President of IPDAL participated on May 12th, in Warsaw, in “Latin America and Caribbean – Opportinities for Central and Eastern Europe”.

The initiative took place at the University of Warsaw and was organized by the EU-LAC Foundation and the CESLA Institute. Among those who spoke were Benita Ferrero-Waldner (former European Commissioner and former Minister of Foreign Affairs of Austria). The President of IPDAL, in parallel with the conference, held meetings with the Brazilian Center for International Relations, the Eurochamber and the Barcelona Center for International Relations.

The Conference’s main objective was to show that Latin America is a region of opportunities for Central European countries. It should be noted that in some South American countries there are large communities of Central European citizens, as is the case in Brazil.
