The Secretary General of IPDAL was present at the Internationalization Day of the University of Coimbra, dedicated to Latin America.

At the conference, Professor Fernando Taveira gave a historical retrospective of the role that the University of Coimbra had in the academic education of Brazil’s first political elites and, consequently, in the construction of the country itself. Certificates were also given to foreign students, scholarship holders of the University.
The University of Coimbra is the university education institution in the world that receives the most Brazilian students. During the conference, Professor Fernando Taveiro presented a historical analysis of the role that the University of Coimbra played in the academic education of Brazil’s first political elites and in the construction of the country itself.
Certificates will also be handed out to foreign students who have come from the University. The University of Coimbra is the university teaching institution in the world that receives the most Brazilian students.
