With the aim of getting closer to the local Latin American reality, IPDAL, through its board member, Filipe Domingues, met, on the 8th of November, with the secretary general of the Latin American Faculty of Social Sciences, in Quito, in Ecuador.

The result of the meeting is very positive for the purposes of IPDAL, with FLACSO – a prestigious academic institution, with a regular presence at high-level meetings such as the Biarritz Forum and the Ibero-American Summit – confirming its presence at the 1st Meeting “Strategic Triangle: America Latin – Europe – Africa” to be carried out by IPDAL in 2012, and the availability to carry out an intervention on the panel dedicated to good governance, inter-regional relations and regional integration.

The Secretary General of FLACSO, Francisco Rojas Aravena, also agreed to join the Scientific Council, responsible for preparing the final paper.
