The Institute for the Promotion and Development of Latin America (IPDAL) invited the Ambassador of Peru, Nestor Popolizio, to present the results of the VIII World Economic Forum for Latin America.
The Meeting that took place between the 23rd and 25th of April, in Lima, was attended by Presidents Enrique Peña Nieto (Mexico), Ricardo Martinelli (Panama) and Ollanta Humala (Peru) and served, on the one hand, to corroborate the positive moment that the region has experienced in the last decade and, on the other, to identify the main challenges and objectives for the coming years.
Ambassador Nestor Popolizio explained the main themes and pillars of discussion that were debated in Lima and presented the most relevant official data, which illustrate the latest socioeconomic trends observed in the region.
The Latin American ambassadors and a restricted group of institutional guests and IPDAL members were present.
