IPDAL took the Latin American Ambassadors to a lunch with the Executive Committee of the largest Portuguese bank.

On March 20, the President of Caixa Geral de Depósitos received a group of Latin American diplomatic representatives at the bank’s headquarters building. José de Matos was accompanied by Vice-President Nuno Fernandes Thomaz, the Administrator responsible for International Business João Nuno and several directors.

The President of IPDAL, Paulo Neves, referred to the partnership relationship established between the Institute and CGD, which confirms the new paradigm assumed by Caixa.

The President of CGD thanked IPDAL for all the support provided in recent years and attested to the relevance of the partnership in achieving Caixa’s strategic objectives.

The Ambassador of Uruguay, assuming the role of dean of the group on this occasion, highlighted the importance of IPDAL’s activities for the success of the missions of Latin American embassies in Lisbon.
