Economic recovery was at the center of the meeting between the Secretary General of SEGIB and the group of Ibero-American ambassadors in Portugal, organized by IPDAL.

This recovery must be politically viable, socially inclusive and environmentally sustainable. During the meeting on June 6, the importance of creating a focused and concrete common agenda was discussed, with answers to the needs of countries in the resumption of economic activity, with SEGIB serving as a point of rapprochement between the Latin- American and European demand.

The need to promote bilingualism, the use of know-how European Union to improve the quality of Latin American education and combat climate change were other topics discussed during the session.
