IPDAL doubles sales at the 2015 Diplomatic Bazaar

Andorra, Argentina, Belize, Cuba, Nicaragua, Paraguay, Dominican Republic and Uruguay were the countries represented at the IPDAL stand. IPDAL was once again visited by the First Lady of Portugal, who made a point of speaking with the President of the Institute and with the diplomatic representatives of the countries represented about the various products on display.

On the 20th and 21st of November 2015, IPDAL managed to sell crafts, clothing, accessories, typical drinks, empanadas and alfajores, sausages, paintings and books, practically doubling sales compared to the previous year. Highlight is the participation of Andorra, which participated in this initiative for the first time. Part of the proceeds from the Diplomatic Bazaar, which took place again at the Lisbon Congress Center, goes towards supporting institutions for maternal and child health. Promoted by the Association of Families of Portuguese Diplomats, and with the High Patronage of Dr. Maria Cavaco Silva, the Bazaar was attended by around 30 Embassies accredited in Portugal, from the Autonomous Regions of Madeira and the Azores, from the European Drug Observatory and Drug Addiction and the European Maritime Safety Agency.
