IPDAL discusses the future of the Latin American economy

IPDAL and the Embassy of the Dominican Republic co-organized a conference on “The economic challenges of Latin America”, with Professor Carlos Quenan.

On September 7th, at the Grémio Literário, the economist from Sorbonne University considered that the region will develop, in the coming years, in a less favorable context than in the last decade and identified five major challenges: preserving macroeconomic stability and finance, advance the social agenda, address environmental issues, overcome the production challenge and analyze China’s relations with the continent, revitalizing the entire framework of external relations.

At the conference given by the Argentine professor, who is also vice-president of the “Institut des Amériques”, several ambassadors and diplomats from Latin America and Europe, researchers, international relations students, members and Friends of IPDAL and the Embassy of the Dominican Republic were present. .
