The President and Secretary General of IPDAL were present at the round table “The crisis or not of Multilateralism: the cases of the European Union, the Ibero-American Community of Nations and Mercosur in comparative perspective”, at the Autonomous University of Lisbon (UAL ).

On November 27th, UAL and the Embassy of Paraguay in Lisbon debated the state of multilateralism in the second decade of the 21st Century, with two Paraguayan academics: Professor Doctor Roberto Elias, Rector of the Columbia University of Paraguay and Professor Doctor Estela Gonzalez de Rojas, Director of Postgraduate Studies at the same university. The Minister of Public Works Enrique Salyn Buzarquis Cáceres was also present.
The President of IPDAL actively participated in the discussion, analyzing recent cases of tensions and successes of multilateral organizations.
Before the session, a protocol of understanding was signed between UAL and Columbia University of Asunción.
