Between 24 and 26 October, IPDAL attended the 49th National Congress of the Portuguese Association of Travel and Tourism Agencies (APAVT), held in Huelva, Spain. This event brought together more than 300 participants, including the main hotel groups, airlines, travel agencies and tour operators, as well as institutional and government representatives from Portugal and Spain.
With the support of the Latin American embassies, IPDAL organised a stand dedicated to promoting the various tourist attractions of Latin American countries. During the three days of the Congress, leaflets, brochures, posters and communication materials were distributed on the region’s main tourist attractions, offering congress attendees a comprehensive and up-to-date overview of the destinations.
The IPDAL stand became an essential meeting point for participants wishing to explore new opportunities and partnerships in the Latin American tourism sector. The initiative reinforces the Institute’s commitment to promoting tourism development and strengthening ties between Portugal and Latin America.
