IPDAL and TAP sign Protocol

IPDAL and TAP signed a memorandum of understanding to deepen relations with Latin America.

On April 14, 2014, the Institute and the main Portuguese airline signed, at TAP’s headquarters in Lisbon, an agreement that aims to strengthen the partnership they have built in recent years and that offers an integrated perspective of collaboration.

This protocol takes into account TAP’s recent investment in the Hispanic Latin American markets, where it will begin flights to Bogotá and Panama in July, and the fact that IPDAL constitutes an essential player in supporting the air carrier’s strategy.

At the protocol signing ceremony, the President of IPDAL declared that “having TAP as a partner is of extraordinary prestige for the Institute”. The airline’s vice-president, Luiz da Gama Mór, recalled that IPDAL has helped TAP “from the very beginning”, with this protocol being just “the corollary of a common work that we were already developing.”
