IPDAL and the Friedrich Naumann Foundation publicly presented their newest report, How Security Challenges Shaped the European Union’s Common Foreign Policy.

The event took place on February 9th at the Autonomous University of Lisbon and served as an open lecture. The presentation was given by the authors, IPDAL’s Deputy Secretary General, Manuel Raposo, and the academic and specialist in radicalization and extremism, Cátia Moreira de Carvalho.

The Naumann Foundation’s Director for Spain, Portugal and Italy, David Henneberger, opened the proceedings and the presentation was followed by a question and answer session. In attendance were members of the press, members of Parliament, the European Parliament’s Chief of Staff in Portugal, academics and others interested in international relations and European politics.
