On the 11th and 12th of April, in Lisbon, IPDAL organizes the “II Meeting: Latin America-Europe-Africa Strategic Triangle”
With the High Patronage of the President of the Republic, the Meeting will be closed by the Minister of State and Foreign Affairs. This initiative serves to identify and highlight improvement processes in relations between the three continents.
The Meeting is organized by IPDAL, SEGIB (Ibero-American Secretariat), Real Instituto Elcano (largest think tank Spanish) and Accenture. The latter will prepare and present a study on the triangulation between Latin America, Europe and Africa. Several members of the Portuguese government, representatives from the African, European and Latin American continents, will participate in the Meeting. There will be a Plenary Session attended by ambassadors from African, European and Latin American countries accredited in Portugal and who will speak about triangular relations.
There will also be a Plenary Session dedicated to national and international companies, institutions and researchers. The Secretary General of SEGIB, Enrique Iglesias, will make a speech as well as a representative of the Council of Europe and the presidencies of several regional organizations in Latin America and the CPLP.
At this II Meeting, the Policy Paper which came out of the 1st Meeting held last year.
