IPDAL was present at the ceremony awarding the degree of Doctor “Honoris Causa” to Rebeca Grynspan, granted by the University of Extremadura.

The Solemn Act took place at the Faculty of Education on the Badajoz Campus, and was presided over by the Rector Segundo Píriz and the president of the Extremadura Board, Guilhermo Fernández Vara.

In the praise given during the ceremony, the high merit of the current Secretary General of Iberoamerica, Rebeca Grynspan, was highlighted, both for her academic and professional career, and for her character and personality, cited as being “a generous, persistent and committed woman in causes he defends.”

The Iberoamerican General Secretariat (SEGIB) is one of the Institute’s main international partners and its General Secretary has already come to Lisbon several times, at the invitation of IPDAL.
