IPDAL and the Friedrich Naumann Foundation’s offices for Spain, Italy, and Portugal held a high-level dialogue dedicated to analyzing the results of the European elections on June 9th.
This conversation brought together, in Lisbon, some of the Foundation’s key regional leaders, as well as ambassadors and diplomats, business leaders, and other parties interested in the topic. Dr. Paulo Sande kicked off the proceedings with a brief contextualization of the European political landscape followed by a debate between representatives of the main Portuguese parties: João Torres from the Socialist Party, Regina Bastos from the Social Democratic Party, and Manuel Matos dos Santos from the Liberal Initiative.
