IPDAL was chosen as the research topic for a final master’s thesis in Political Science and International Relations, at Universidade Nova de Lisboa.
Gonçalo Caetano, who completed a curricular internship at IPDAL in 2014, decided to highlight the “Strategic Triangle: Latin America – Europe – Africa” initiative, where IPDAL annually brings together dozens of personalities, technical experts and institutional representatives at the highest level, from ex -Heads of State, members of the Government of Portugal, Ambassadors, international institutions, companies, among others.
The President of IPDAL, Dr. Paulo Neves, was invited to participate in the Jury that evaluated Gonçalo Caetano, on February 6th, at Universidade Nova de Lisboa.
Prepared under the guidance of Professor Manuel Filipe Canaveira, the document “Strategic Triangle Latin America – Europe – Africa: An Atlantic Pangea” comes, according to the author, to underline the importance of Portugal’s strategic positioning as the fundamental vertex of the triangle that unites three continents with a common history and future.
