The Institute for the Promotion of Latin America and the Caribbean (IPDAL), in partnership with the Portuguese Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCIP) and with the support of Caixa Geral de Depósitos, organized the event “Diplomacy in Business – Latin America”, a session dedicated to analyzing the opportunities and challenges that Portuguese entrepreneurs face in the Latin American context.
The meeting took place in the elegant Noble Hall of the CCIP and brought together experts and diplomatic representatives, reinforcing the central role of economic diplomacy in strengthening bilateral relations.
Speakers included the Ambassador of El Salvador, Rhina Bardi, the Chargé d’Affaires of the Embassy of Peru in Portugal, Manuel Alvarez Espinal, and the Chargé d’Affaires of the Republic of Colombia, Pedro Agustín Roa Arboleda, who shared their views on the role of embassies in promoting trade and investment.
With this initiative, IPDAL reaffirms its commitment to promoting strategic dialogue and cooperation between Portugal and Latin America, strengthening bridges that enhance new business opportunities and economic development.
