Debate "Colombia's Challenges"

The Secretary General of IPDAL was invited by the Colombian Embassy to moderate the conference “Colombia: 20th Century – Current Challenges”.

Filipe Domingues presented the initiative, summarizing the most recent economic and political events in the country in recent decades. He then moderated a question and answer session with academic Marcos Peckel, a specialist in international affairs, peace processes, diplomacy and conflicts.
The conversation covered topics such as peace negotiations between the Government of Colombia and terrorist guerrillas, economic growth and the attraction of foreign investment, current political-party dynamics, relations with Venezuela and the integration of Venezuelan refugees and migrants. , the election of the next president of the Inter-American Development Bank, regional integration and the geopolitical positioning of the current government in Bogotá.
