Argentine Ambassador delivers letters of credentials

The new Ambassador of Argentina in Lisbon, Oscar Moscariello, presented his credentials to the President of the Republic of Portugal. On April 27, 2016, Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa made an exception to the protocol and accepted that the accreditation ceremony would take place exclusively for Argentina’s new diplomatic representative, without the delivery of letters from any other ambassador.

Previously, on April 13th, the President and Secretary General of IPDAL had already had the opportunity to receive and speak with Ambassador Moscariello, in Lisbon. In March, the Secretary General of the Institute had lunch with Ambassador Moscariello, in Buenos Aires.

Oscar Moscariello was Vice President of the City of Buenos Aires, Deputy in the Legislature of the City of Buenos Aires, Administrative Secretary and Legislator for the Argentine capital, member of the Argentine Council for International Relations, and, more recently, Vice President of Club Atlético Boca Juniors .
